CarweB "VRR Host" holds the most accurate, up to date and extensive vehicle data records within the motor industry. The CarweB database contains over 40 million records of over 160 fields covering all vehicles including Trucks, Buses and Motorcycles.
CarweB "VRR Enquire" is a downloaded desktop application. The application allows users to enter a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or Registration in full or in part and receive back any number of reports on all or selected fields of the relevant VRR Host records.
CarweB "VRR B2B" is a live feed directly into our VRR Host database. Larger customers and other vehicle IT systems can build in links to this datafeed from their own applications. The feed is available as an ASP.Net WebService.
what is carweb
CarweB is a collaboration between the SMMT ("Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders") and Piper Group Holding Ltd. CarweB uses vehicle identifying information sourced from the DVLA. This database has been combined with a number of databases maintained by the SMMT to form a vast new internet hosted database, called:
